NFL Draft 2025: No trades for first-round picks ahead of the draft – previous record broken

With just a few days to go before the 2025 draft, no trades for first-round picks have been made yet. The previous record has already been broken.

In a few days, Commissioner Roger Goodell will welcome the top college stars to the stage in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

However, things are unusually quiet this year when it comes to trades.

According to ESPN, this is the shortest period before the start of the draft in which there have been no trades for first-round picks in the Common Draft Era.

The trade for Joe Montana in 1993 set the previous record, taking place five days before the draft.
