In the wake of the NFL Combine, the colleges’ Pro Days are currently taking place. There, Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe made headlines.
Preparations for the 2025 NFL Draft are in full swing – and so is Jalen Milroe, quarterback of Alabama.
At his university’s Pro Day, the 22-year-old impressed with his speed in the 40-yard dash.
Several scouts and officials timed his sprint. According to official figures, Milroe took 4.4 seconds to complete the sprint. The scouts present had clocked him at between 4.37 and 4.45 seconds.

Either way, Milroe would have been the fastest quarterback at the combine. He himself chose not to participate in the 40-yard dash at the event.
Jalen Milroe: Assessment in the NFL Draft
In historical comparison, Milroe’s time puts him in a notable list. At the NFL Combine, only Michael Vick (4.33 seconds) and Reggie McNeal (4.4 seconds) were faster or equally fast.
Lamar Jackson ran a hand-timed 4.34 seconds at his Pro Day. Milroe is thus one of the fastest players at his position.
Experts currently estimate that the Alabama quarterback will be selected in the middle rounds of the NFL Draft.
