Munich – As the NFL announced on Monday, the location for the 2024 draft has been determined. According to the announcement, the 2024 NFL Draft will take place in Detroit. The announcement was made at the league’s annual meeting in Palm Beach.

“The draft has become a prominent offseason event across the country. We are thrilled to work with the Lions and their partners to bring the NFL Draft to the Motor City,” NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is quoted as saying in the press release.

Draft 2022 in Las Vegas

“Today is a historic day for Detroit, with the announcement that the 2024 NFL Draft is coming to the Motor City,” said Claude Molinari, President and CEO of Visit Detroit.

On April 14, 2022, the Detroit Sports Commission, in partnership with the Detroit Lions, will host a football-themed event at Campus Martius Park. The event will celebrate, among other things, Detroit’s hosting of the 2024 NFL Draft.
