NFL: DeAndre Baker and Quinton Dunbar make first statement after their arrest

Recently arrested NFL pros DeAndre Baker and Quinton Dunbar have been released. Now the two show remorse and make public statements for the first time.

NFL professionals DeAndre Baker and Quinton Dunbar continue to be accused of being directly involved in an armed robbery at a party in Miami. Both players have now released their first public statement.

Seahawks cornerback Dunbar made the following statement on Instagram: “I thank all my fans for their support and apologize to the Seattle Seahawks for the unnecessary distractions caused by the charges against me.”

The 27-year-old said he was very grateful to be part of a team that supports each other and maintains the credibility of each member even in difficult situations. “For the future, the whole situation has taught me not to operate in environments that reflect badly on my character and values.”

DeAndre Baker of the New York Giants published a statement about his lawyer. As quoted by “NBC Sports”, his entourage thanks the prosecution for their “diligent efforts to uncover the truth”.

He also apologizes to his team, his teammates and the NFL community for the distractions that this issue has caused at this difficult time in everyone’s lives.

Recently, the Giants were reported to have contacted Baker and told him to stay away from upcoming team meetings for the time being.
