NFL: Davante Adams takes aim at Odell Beckham Junior

Wide receiver Davante Adams of the Green Bay Packers trolls Odell Beckham Junior after the win against the Green Bay Packers. First he rebuffs OBJ on the jersey exchange, then he sends him a jersey after all – with the next side kick included.

Munich/Green Bay – This is probably not how Odell Beckham Junior imagined his jersey swap. After his Los Angeles Rams’ 28:36 loss to the Green Bay Packers, OBJ actually wanted to swap jerseys with Packers receiver Davante Adams. But he turned him down cold.

In an interview with Michael Irvine of the “NFL Network”, Adams said that Beckham had asked him for a jersey swap, to which Adams replied that he should rather get Cooper Kupp’s jersey, since he was apparently the receiver with whom Beckham wanted to play.

Background: After being released by the Cleveland Browns, OBJ decided to move to the Rams a few weeks ago, although the Packers were also said to be in the running. Adams confirmed before the game that he had tried to convince OBJ to move to Green Bay at the time.

Davante Adams a fan of Odell Beckham

Adams noted that he likes Beckham’s style of play and wishes him nothing but the best, as reported by “Fansided”. He couldn’t resist another sideways jab, however: After the win, he said, he had a jersey sent to OBJ in the dressing room, with the comment that he should “not punch a hole in the wall this time.”

A reference to the 2017 Wild Card Game, when Beckham punched a hole in a wall at Lambeau Field after his New York Giants’ 13-38 loss to the Packers.
