NFL: Dalvin Cook is still convinced of his qualities

The past NFL season was anything but satisfactory for Dalvin Cook. Nevertheless, the free agent is convinced he still has a lot left in the tank

During his personally most successful NFL years, which Dalvin Cook experienced with the Minnesota Vikings, the running back was one of the best players at his position.

However, the 28-year-old is no longer among the elite and last season was the weakest of his career.

He recorded 214 yards on 67 attempts for the New York Jets before being released. He then joined the practice squad of the Baltimore Ravens, who also let him on the field in the Divisional Round against the Houston Texans (eight attempts for 23 yards).

Cook, who keeps himself fit in Houston, is now without a team – and despite his weak year, he is still convinced that he can add value to a team.

“I have everything. The tools are still there. I didn’t really get a lot of playing time last year. So the legs are fresh and the resume speaks for itself. I’m still Dalvin Cook,” the 2017 second-round pick told Texas TV station “KPRC. “
