NFL: Bill Belichick expands TV commitment and gets his own show

The NFL coaching legend will be in the media almost daily in the coming season anyway. But now Bill Belichick is going one better

Bill Belichick may no longer be on the sidelines as an NFL coach next season. However, it is unlikely that the coaching legend will get bored in any way.

The 72-year-old is now even getting his own NFL show. As initially reported by NFL insider Adam Schefter and officially confirmed a short time later, the former New England Patriots coach will host and produce a show on the Underdog Media Network. The show will be broadcast on YouTube.

“This show will give fans a comprehensive look behind the scenes of the National Football League: what it’s like to be a coach, how to prepare and how to build a team,” Belichick is quoted as saying in Underdog’s press release.

The collaboration with Belichick, after all a six-time Super Bowl champion as head coach with the Patriots, is a huge coup for Underdog. After all, the channel, which deals with fantasy and betting topics, was only founded in 2020.

For Belichick, on the other hand, the commitment is the biggest media deal he has signed since parting ways with the Patriots.

Even without this coup, he would be on TV often enough in the upcoming season.

Once a week he will be a guest on the Pat McAfee Show. He will also commentate and analyze NFL games on the ManningCast of Peyton and Eli Manning and on “Inside the NFL.”
