The NFL traditionally announces the fixture list for the new season in May. This season, however, there is a delay – for mysterious reasons
The NFL offseason is packed with important events and happenings.
Now that free agency and the draft have been dealt with, the next item on the agenda is the release of the schedule.
The second week of May was originally planned as the time for the exact scheduling of the 18 game weeks. However, a memo from the league to the 32 franchises confirmed that this will not happen.
There was no explanation for this. “NBC” suspects that it may be due to the plan to play games at Christmas. The first holiday falls on a Wednesday in 2024, but the NFL is still planning to play a game there.
The new date for the announcement of the entire schedule is May 15. Before then, individual games will be published in stages, including the International Game in Munich, where the Carolina Panthers will be the home team.
