Jackson Mahomes: Plaintiff forced to close restaurant after losses, threats and vandalism

Aspen Vaughn has accused Jackson Mahomes, brother of star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, of sexual harassment. Now she’s had to close her restaurant.

Aspen Vaughn, plaintiff against Jackson Mahomes for sexual harassment, has closed her Kansas City restaurant. The “Aspen Restaurant and Lounge” had to deal with large losses, threats and vandalism as a result of the lawsuit.

For example, water and gas lines were damaged and the fire alarm went off regularly. Turnover had plummeted by 75 per cent, she said

Vaughn: Continuation not possible

The sexual harassment charges apparently make normal continued operations impossible. “It’s hard to own a business and go through everything we’ve been through,” says American. “I definitely feel like my safety has been compromised since it happened,” she said.

Mahomes denies the allegations: “Our investigation has revealed substantial evidence that refutes the claims of Jackson’s accuser, including the testimony of several witnesses,” Mahomes lets it be known through his lawyer.

Brother Patrick Mahomes does not want to comment on the ongoing trial. How the trial will continue remains open.
