Harry Kane in the NFL? Bayern star is already planning a second career

Harry Kane has long since reached the top echelons of football. However, the Englishman would like to try his hand at a different sport after his career.

In soccer, Harry Kane is one of the best strikers in the world. This season, the Englishman has already scored 34 goals for Bayern Munich and set up twelve more goals for his teammates. In addition to his love of soccer, the 31-year-old is also enthusiastic about the NFL.

In an interview with “Goal”, Kane reveals that it has been his dream for a long time to play on the football field himself. As things stand, Kane makes it clear: “I still feel like I have many years ahead of me before I stop playing football.” But at the same time, he emphasizes: “When the time comes, football is definitely something I want to explore.”

Harry Kane: Love confession to the NFL

No easy feat, as the Bayern star also knows: “I know it’s going to take a lot of hard work. I don’t expect to just walk out there and kick field goals. It would take a lot of practice. But yes, it’s something I would love to do.”

The London native is an ardent football fan: “I’ve been following the NFL for about ten years and I love it. That’s why I’d love to give it a try.” Kane has made no secret of his desire to get a taste of US sports after his career in the past.

“When my career in soccer comes to an end, I might take a closer look at it and start practicing a bit,” the goal scorer revealed in March in an interview with “Sports Illustrated”. In particular, his friendship with NFL star Tom Brady could help him in this regard.

Harry Kane: Champions League “always been a dream”

But Kane is still under contract with the German record champions until June 2027. The ambitious professional wants to win his first club title with the Munich-based club. Winning the Champions League is a particular goal, as Kane revealed in an interview with the Bundesliga media: “That would be a real dream. Winning the Champions League has always been a dream of mine. If we manage to do it at the Allianz Arena in front of our fans, it would be even more special.”

To make that dream come true, FC Bayern and Harry Kane must first beat Inter Milan in the quarter-finals.
