Ex-NFL players Adrian Peterson and Le’Veon Bell may be planning boxing match

Former NFL stars Adrian Peterson and Le’Veon Bell are planning to box against each other, according to a report. They wouldn’t be the first running backs in the boxing ring.

Munich/Los Angeles – As the US-American celebrity portal “TMZ” reports, Adrian Peterson and Le’Veon Bell want to have a boxing match against each other.

This is to take place in the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, as early as July.

Both Peterson and Bell have not officially ended their careers in the NFL, in fact, both played some snaps in 2021.

Frank Gore was in the ring before

AP and Bell would not be the first running backs in the boxing ring. NFL legend Frank Gore already made his debut in boxing gloves late last year at the age of 39. Most recently, he recorded his first professional win

Bell has been selected to the NFL All-Pro team twice, Peterson as many as four times. Both are currently out of contract, so nothing would legally stand in the way of a boxing match.
