Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin is set to return to the NFL field after suffering a cardiac arrest against the Cincinnati Bengals last season.
With the Buffalo Bills, NFL Insider Jordan Schultz says safety Damar Hamlin will be active and make his comeback in Week 4 against the Miami Dolphins.
Jordan Poyer will be out due to a knee injury.
Taylor Rapp is expected to be the starting safety alongside Micah Hyde on Sunday, but Hamlin is expected to be active for the first time since suffering a cardiac arrest in Week 17 last season.
Hamlin played in 15 games in 2022 and finished as the team’s third-leading tackler (91 tackles).
Buffalo Bills: Tough opponent
Hamlin and his teammates on defense will have their work cut out for them against Miami. The Dolphins still scored 70 points in Week 3 against the Denver Broncos.
Plus, receiver Jaylen Waddle is coming back – any help in pass defence will be needed.
