After Kimmel dispute: Aaron Rodgers removed from McAfee show

Following Aaron Rodgers’ controversial statements about TV star Jimmy Kimmel, host Pat McAfee is now taking action. The serious Rodgers accusations were made on his show, which will now take place without the quarterback.

What a drama. But that’s all over now.

After Aaron Rodgers took his personal feud with TV presenter Jimmy Kimmel to the “Pat McAfee Show”, the host is now taking action.

Rodgers is normally a guest on McAfee’s talk show every Tuesday. From now on, however, no more.

The background to this are the serious accusations made by Rodgers towards Kimmel, which McAfee felt were too much

Pat McAfee takes action and throws Rodgers out

The “Pat McAfee Show” has been running on “ESPN” since this season. However, Rodgers will no longer be the permanent guest.

Host McAfee probably made this decision himself and thus drew the consequences from recent conversations in which Rodgers repeatedly attacked late night host Jimmy Kimmel and made serious accusations in the Epstein case

McAfee called Rodgers an “off-target distraction” on the show and that he won’t be back on the show this season. He then applauded himself, and so did the studio guests.

“The guy caused quite a stir. You’re used to that from him, but this time it was different. Aaron Rodgers Tuesday is over. A lot of people will be happy about that, myself included, to be honest,” McAfee said.

McAfee distances himself from Rodgers statements

McAfee alone decides who appears on his show and who does not. He also justifies the decision by saying that the Rodgers parts would give the show’s critics “ammunition” to put McAfee down: “And over the last few weeks, we’ve given these people some reasons to be angry and get loud. We’ve blown that.”

McAfee continued: “We live in a free country, with freedom of expression. But you also have to expect the consequences if you freely express your opinion. We are really happy to have had such a deserving NFL player with us. We were really lucky that he spoke to us and that we were able to learn from him. Some of his thoughts and opinions piss a lot of people off. And I’m damn glad I don’t have to have that the rest of the Wednesdays of my life. “
