Adrian Peterson seeks SB contender: “Feel young “

Running back legend Adrian Peterson wants to complete a 15th NFL season. But the 36-year-old continues to wait for a call. Preferably from a Super Bowl contender.

Adrian Peterson is an NFL legend. 14 seasons, 180 games, 14,820 rushing yards, 118 rushing touchdowns – but the 36-year-old is still a free agent just before the start of training camps.

In 2020, he played for the Detroit Lions, where the running back rushed for 604 yards and seven touchdowns.

Peterson doesn’t just want an NFL team. He’s looking for a Super Bowl contender, Peterson said on “SiriusXM NFL Radio.” “I’m looking for a team that can win a title. That’s my ultimate goal and I feel like I can help achieve it,” Peterson said.

His job description: “A team with a good quarterback, a good defence and playmakers on offence. For me, a situation like that would be perfect.”

Adrian Peterson: “I’m ready to play “

But the other way round, that seems to be more difficult. That’s why Peterson is self-promoting.

“Training is going well and I will control the things I can control at the moment. And when the time comes, someone will call me,” Peterson told NFL Insider Aaron Wilson. And stressed, “My body feels strong. I still feel young, I still feel good. I’m ready to play.”
