This decision is explosive!

The Tennessee Titans will play two games in the upcoming NFL season wearing their throwback jerseys – and they’re bumping many Houston fans in the head.
From 1960 to 1996, the team played under the name Houston Oilers in Texas. It was not until 1997 that the franchise moved to Tennessee and has since become the Titans.
Many NFL fans identify the Oliers with Houston
Houston now also has an NFL team playing there again. But the Texans have never really arrived there until now. Many fans – not only in the Texan metropolis – still identify the Oilers with Houston.
Actually, according to the Titans’ website, they wanted to play not only two home games with the historic jerseys in the coming season, but also the away game in Miami.
“However, this will most likely not be able to be implemented,” writes author Jim Wyatt.
And would probably have been too much of a humiliation for the old Oilers fans.
