NFL – Tom Brady Praises Quarterback Rival: “There’s No Better Passer Than Him”

Tom Brady made an interesting comment about quarterback Aaron Rodgers on a podcast.

Tom Brady has hoisted the Vince Lombardi Trophy seven times in his NFL career. He was named Super Bowl MVP five times.

Nevertheless, he names a quarterback who has a better throwing arm than he does. On the “Stick to Football” podcast, Brady spoke about the Pittsburgh Steelers’ quarterback—Aaron Rodgers.

“I don’t think there’s a better passer than him,” Brady said, adding: “You see a lot of players; everyone can do it. But then you see one who just throws the ball even better. Aaron Rodgers was unbelievable.”

Rodgers’ throw “indescribable” to Brady

He elaborated on his comments and emphasized how highly he regards Rodgers: “You can’t describe how he throws. The way it comes off his hand, has perfect speed, and arrives right on target… There have probably been at most three people in NFL history who could do it nearly as well.”

Brady’s comments, however, underscore once again that passing is just one component of the complex game of quarterbacking.

Despite his strong throwing arm, Rodgers has played in and won only one Super Bowl in his career.
