NFL: The Seattle Seahawks want to talk to Aaron Rodgers – the Minnesota Vikings and the New York Giants are also interested

Aaron Rodgers is becoming a hot stock in NFL free agency. The veteran quarterback is being courted by several teams.

The franchise wants to talk to Aaron Rodgers after trading Geno Smith to the Las Vegas Raiders to fill the void at quarterback. This was reported by NFL insider Dianna Russini on Sunday evening on “X”.

The New York Giants had apparently already made a concrete effort to sign the quarterback. And for a while it looked as if Rodgers would actually stay in the Big Apple after his time with the New York Jets.

But then the Minnesota Vikings also expressed interest in the four-time NFL MVP. As NFL insider Ian Rapoport reports, Sam Darnold remaining with the Minnesota Vikings seems unrealistic.

Should the franchise from the NFC North also be unable to keep Daniel Jones, the 41-year-old would therefore be an option, since the Vikings definitely want to sign an experienced quarterback alongside J.J. McCarthy.

The Vikings’ possible interest has now led to a rethink by Rodgers. According to ESPN reporter and Giants insider Jordan Ranaan, it is no longer a given that the quarterback will stay in New York and simply change colors from green to blue.

A move to the Giants is no longer the “most desirable situation,” the journalist wrote at “X”, citing conversations with league sources.

Is Rodgers going to Pittsburgh?

Another Giants reporter, Connor Hughes, picked up on Raanan’s tweet. He called the Vikings’ interest a make-or-break moment, saying the Giants didn’t see it coming.

A supposedly sure thing for the Giants to sign Rodgers is now completely open again, he explained. The journalist brought up another team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, that could be interested in Rodgers if Justin Fields were to end up with the New York Jets.

The Seahawks, the Giants, the Vikings and maybe the Steelers as well: interest in Rodgers in the NFL free agency that begins on Monday seems to be high in any case.

Even if Rodgers has seen better days, there is obviously a market for the experienced signal caller.
