⁠Last season, Travis Kelce’s girlfriend, pop superstar Taylor Swift, was an integral part of the Kansas City Chiefs’ games. This season, Swift is rarely seen.

While Taylor Swift attended the first two Chiefs games of the NFL season at Arrowhead Stadium, the music icon was absent from the Atlanta Falcons in Week 3 and the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 4.

Fans feared a relationship crisis, but according to a report in Page Six, Swift’s absence has nothing to do with Travis Kelce. Instead, the pop star is concerned about her safety and has therefore canceled her attendance at all away games, except for the game against the Buffalo Bills on November 17.

The singer still plans to attend all the games in Kansas.

Since Taylor Swift positioned herself in favor of Democratic candidate Kamala Harris ahead of the upcoming US presidential election, the security around her person has been significantly tightened – so now six bodyguards are supposed to guard her instead of three as before.

The cancellation of her concert in Vienna, where a terrorist attack was allegedly planned, also contributed to Swift’s new security measures after consultation with US authorities.
