The Cleveland Browns have announced the jersey numbers for their rookies. This means that Shedeur Sanders now knows which number he will be wearing.
For Shedeur Sanders, everyday life in the NFL is fast approaching. On Tuesday, the Cleveland Browns announced the jersey numbers for their rookies.
Seven newcomers have received their provisional numbers – which usually remain the same for the time being.
Sanders, who was drafted by the Browns in the fifth round, has been given the number of an NFL legend.
It is number twelve. This means that the young playmaker will wear the same number on his back as quarterback icon Tom Brady.
Brady played in the NFL for many years for the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In 2022, the “G.O.A.T.” ended his career for good. Sanders, on the other hand, is just at the beginning of his career.

In addition to Sanders, the other rookies drafted this year have been assigned the following jersey numbers:
- Quarterback Dillon Gabriel: 5
- Running back Quinshon Judkins: 10
- Running back Dylan Sampson: 22
- Linebacker Carson Schwesinger: 49
- Tight end Harold Fannin Jr.: 88
- Defensive Tackle Mason Graham: 94
There was no public response from Sanders. He simply reposted the Browns’ post on his Instagram account.
The Browns’ current offseason phase also includes the rookie minicamp, which begins on May 9. This will be the first time the rookies will take the field in Browns jerseys.
