Tyreek Hill was asked to name his top five current quarterbacks. The wide receiver’s answer came as a surprise.

Was Tyreek Hill distracted? Or forgetful? Or just being honest?

The Miami Dolphins wide receiver was asked on Snapchat to name the five best quarterbacks in the NFL right now.

He picked Patrick Mahomes from the Kansas City Chiefs – obviously. He also picked MVP Josh Allen (Buffalo Bills), Lamar Jackson from the Baltimore Ravens, and Bengals superstar Joe Burrow.

No question about it.

The fundamental question now is whether Hill should be loyal to his own quarterback and include him in the list as well.

Tua Tagovailoa is one of the better playmakers, but he has often been injured and (partly due to his absences) has yet to prove that he can make a difference for an ambitious team over the course of a season. He has been too inconsistent for that.

However, Hill has repeatedly praised his quarterback in the highest terms. For example, he said that Tua is “very accurate” and that he has a lot of confidence in him. “There are no limits for him.”

Well, the limit is now Hill’s top five, because there is no room for Tagovailoa there. The remaining spot went to Bucs quarterback Baker Mayfield.
