NFL: Maxx Crosby wants to be a “Raider for life”

NFL player Maxx Crosby talks about why he wants to stay with the Las Vegas Raiders for his entire career.

Maxx Crosby joined the Las Vegas Raiders as a fourth-round pick in the 2019 NFL draft and wants to stay with the team for the rest of his career. The 26-year-old admires players who play in the same team for their entire career.

“The guys that inspire me are the Kobes [Bryant] and the [Michael] Jordans; the guys that have stayed in the same place and won in the same place,” Crosby said on “The Jim Rome Show.” “No offense to guys like LeBron [James] and those guys. I don’t want to blame them, but they took the easier road, and that’s not the way I look at it.”

The 26-year-old’s current contract runs until 2026, but his contract no longer includes a guaranteed salary after the upcoming season. Understandably, he would like to negotiate a new deal before then. There is no question that he wants to continue playing for the Raiders

Max Crosby: One of the best pass rushers in the NFL

“When I go through the ups and downs, it’s even better when I win a Super Bowl. So I plan on staying here for a very long time and winning here. When I signed the contract, I didn’t have the slightest thought of leaving. I feel like I’m going to be a Raider for life.”

Since entering the league in 2019, he has registered 52 sacks. In that span, only eleven players have been better at sacks. Last season, with 14.5 sacks, was the most successful of his five so far. He has also made a total of 289 tackles so far
