NFL: Kansas City Chiefs unveil championship ring after Super Bowl win

The Kansas City Chiefs unveil their championship ring about four months after winning the Super Bowl.

New jewelry in the Kansas City Chiefs players’ wardrobe. The current Super Bowl winners unveiled the championship ring for their victory in the NFL final in February against the San Francisco 49ers in a festive ceremony.

Players, coaches and officials involved in the great triumph each received a piece of jewelry. The special feature: a hidden hinge allows the ring to be opened. Meanwhile, the name of the decisive move is written on the inside: “Tom & Jerry”.

In overtime, Mecole Hardman caught a pass from quarterback Patrick Mahomes in the end zone after a field goal by the Niners, who had possession of the ball first. Incidentally, the decisive play is also outlined in the championship ring by Head Coach Andy Reid himself

On the other inside of the ring, meanwhile, you can see a playing field on which miniature Lombardi trophies made of gold leaf are floating.

The piece of jewelry is of course set with precious diamonds and prominently features the Chief’s logo and the title “World Champion”.

The rings are also personalized and include the player’s number, the number of Super Bowl victories with the team and the final result of each game.
