NFL: Jakob Johnson hosts football camp in Germany

Those who would like to stand on the field with German NFL star Jakob Johnson will have the best opportunity to do so in April. The Stuttgart native is organising a football camp in his hometown.

Munich – It is still unclear whether fullback Jakob Johnson will return to the New England Patriots in the 2022 season. The 27-year-old’s contract ended after the past season.

Nevertheless, there is good news for German fans: the NFL professional will return to Germany for a day on the football field in the spring. On 10 April, Johnson will host a football camp for youth players and coaches as part of the “24/7 AFS Youth Camp”.

In the GAZI Stadium on the Waldau near Stuttgart, the NFL professional will welcome children and young people between the ages of eleven and 18. The focus will be on position-specific drills and game situations with physical contact.

In addition to “gift bags” for all campers, Johnson promises some special guests – among others, other players from the New England Patriots will be present. The link for registration can be found here.

Those who are not participating but still want to watch the spectacle have the opportunity to come as spectators. Entertainment in the stands will be provided, he said. “Probably the best chance to catch me in Germany this year,” Johnson declared on Instagram.
