According to “ESPN,” the 25-year-old will receive a three-year contract worth up to $48 million, with $25 million reportedly guaranteed.
Last season, he emerged as the Jaguars’ top tight end and, in just twelve games—he missed five due to a hip injury—set new career highs in catches (46), receiving yards (540), and touchdowns (three).
The second-round pick from the 2023 draft was entering the final year of his rookie contract and is now getting the payday he deserves.

The Jaguars posted an 11-1 record during the 2025 season and averaged 30.1 points per game when Strange played. In the games he missed, they went 2-3 and averaged 22.6 points per game.
In his still-young NFL career, Strange has caught 91 passes for 981 yards and six touchdowns over three seasons.
