The Indianapolis Colts will honor their late owner Jim Irsay with a patch on their jerseys next season.
On Tuesday, the franchise announced that it would place the black and white patch on the jerseys.
It will feature Irsay’s signature, accompanied by a smiley face that the billionaire used to add to his autographs for fans.
Irsay took over the Colts after his father’s death in 1997 and was the youngest owner in the NFL at the time, aged 37.
He had headed the franchise until his death on May 21 this year. Irsay was 65 years old.
