NFL – Cleveland Browns: Troubled superstar Myles Garrett suffers another injury

Myles Garrett has revealed that his foot injuries will be with him for the rest of his career. Now, new injuries have been added.

As an NFL professional, you have to grit your teeth from time to time. It can also happen that you have to do it for a long time.

Like Myles Garrett, who is currently plagued by multiple injuries.

First, it was a foot injury. On both feet, mind you. The Cleveland Browns superstar assumed before Week 3 that the problems could follow him even to the end of his career. However, Garrett did not explain what exactly the problem with his feet is.

When asked whether surgery might be necessary, Garrett said that it was being discussed, but that hopefully it would not be an issue until later.

Myles Garrett: “It’s about dealing with it”

“Hopefully the pain and everything else is something we can deal with and it goes away, but the problem itself is something I’ll probably have to deal with for as long as I play at the end. So it’s just a matter of dealing with it,” Garrett said.

Garrett took several days off from practice last week. Taking breaks from practice is likely an option in the future as well.

The 2024 NFL schedule

When asked if the injury would last the entire season, last season’s Defensive Player of the Year replied, “I hope not. I’m hoping that it continues to get better over the next few weeks to where it’s not something that bothers me as regularly.”

However, the problems are no longer limited to his feet now before Week 4: On Sunday, he suffered two more injuries. Head coach Kevin Stefanski said that Garrett now has to deal with an Achilles tendon and a hamstring injury in addition to the foot injuries.

Garrett, however, seems to plan on continuing to play despite all these injuries. “I feel like Myles is determined to play. He works through injuries like a lot of guys do, and he’s played through injuries in the past,” Stefanski said.
