The Buffalo Bills have released former Super Bowl MVP Von Miller, saving star quarterback Josh Allen’s team a lot of cap space.
The Buffalo Bills have released pass rusher Von Miller. The Bills will save $8.3 million in cap space for the upcoming season by releasing the pass rusher, the NFL Network reports. His salary would have been $17.5 million.
The 35-year-old will thus become a free agent and can sign with any team. According to the report, however, a comeback in Buffalo is also conceivable on more team-friendly terms.

Miller has played in Buffalo since the 2022 season, but he was no longer a starter in the previous two years. Nevertheless, he still took between 30 and 40 percent of the snaps per game last season and recorded six sacks.
Von Miller won Super Bowl with the Broncos
His career began as a 2011 number two pick with the Denver Broncos. Miller had his best season there, leading the franchise to victory in Super Bowl 50 against the Carolina Panthers. He was also named Super Bowl MVP that year.
In November 2021, Miller was traded to the Los Angeles Rams, who sent a second- and third-round pick to Colorado in return. However, he was unable to meet expectations with the Rams, and the two sides parted ways at the end of that season.
He then signed in Buffalo, but after a phenomenal start to the 2022 season with eight sacks in 11 games, Miller missed the rest of the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament. He was unable to return to his old form.
Over the course of his career so far, Miller has been named First-team All-Pro three times, Second-team All-Pro four times, and was selected to the Pro Bowl eight times.
