The Buffalo Bills have made a statement in the AFC!

The Bills won their home game against the Jacksonville Jaguars 47-10. Buffalo was already leading 34-3 at halftime. This means that the Bills have scored more than 30 points in every game.

Quarterback Josh Allen was in absolute MVP form. He completed 23 of his 30 passes for 263 yards and four touchdowns, giving him a passer rating of 142.1. The first five drives all ended in a touchdown.

He also added 44 rushing yards, making him the Bills’ rushing leader. He distributed the four touchdowns to four different receivers: Khalil Shakir, Dalton Kincaid, Ty Johnson and Keon Coleman. It was a special touchdown for Coleman, the first of his NFL career.

James Cook added another 39 rushing yards and a touchdown. In garbage time, Ray Davis ran into the end zone one more time.

For the Jaguars, on the other hand, it was a thoroughly disappointing evening. Trevor Lawrence’s statistics read more than weakly with just 178 passing yards, a touchdown and an interception. He completed just 50 passing yards before halftime. In the fourth quarter, backup Mac Jones took over, but he also fumbled.

First career interception: Emotional moment for Damar Hamlin

Lawrence made his first interception in the first quarter, when safety Damar Hamlin, of all people, picked off a pass that was overthrown. The stadium in Orchard Park cheered frenetically, as it was the first interception of Hamlin’s career.

It was an emotional moment for the defensive back, who was still fighting for his life after suffering a cardiac arrest in late 2022.

The only touchdown of the 2021 number one pick was scored by tight end Brenton Strange, Christian Kirk was leading receiver with 73 yards. The running game around Travis Etienne (68 yards) and Tank Bigsby (nine yards) was only a factor in the final quarter. To make matters worse, Gabe Davis was injured late in the game.

For Lawrence, it was the eighth loss in his last eight games, making the Jaguars the only team, along with the Tennessee Titans and Cincinnati Bengals, to go 0-3. The Bills, on the other hand, are still perfect at 3-0.

Buffalo will face the Baltimore Ravens on the road in week four, while the Jaguars will travel to the Houston Texans.
