New York Jets – Team legend sure: Aaron Rodgers would ruin the locker room.

Aaron Rodgers is always being linked to a possible trade to the New York Jets. One team legend is now certain the quarterback would “absolutely ruin” the locker room

The future of Aaron Rodgers remains unclear. Will he stay with the Packers, end his career or perhaps be traded to another team after all?

The New York Jets, who are on the lookout for a quarterback, have been repeatedly mentioned as a possible trade target in recent weeks. Team legend and Pro Football Hall-of-Famer Joe Klecko, meanwhile, is certain that the superstar would not fit in well in the locker room with all the young players.

So he declared on the “Zach Geld Show” on “CBS Sports Radio” that the four-time NFL MVP could “absolutely ruin” the locker room.

Klecko: Aaron Rodgers is not a good fit for New York

“I don’t think Rodgers is a good fit for the young players. I’ve seen that with myself when we were a young team coming up and starting to win. We all worked together and went up together, so it was a good fit,” the ex-professional said.

He added: “I’ve watched Rodgers over the years. He’s a great player. You don’t get MVP that often without doing what he did.”

But despite all the praise for the 39-year-old’s achievements, Klecko was not sparing with criticism. “When he didn’t have the perfect arrangement with the receivers and the line, his attitude was a little condescending to the players,” the Jets legend says.

Derek Carr a better fit for the Jets?

“Garrett Wilson was named the Offensive Rookie of the Year. I can’t see him coming back in the huddle and Rodgers beating him up for running a fake route. That’s not going to fit. I don’t see it,” Klecks continued.

Klecko, on the other hand, could see Derek Carr doing a much better job as a playmaker for the franchise from the Big Apple. The former Raiders quarterback has already been on hand for talks.

“He’s not an MVP, but he’s had some great years. I just can’t see them bringing in a player who has played all these years and gone his way. And then when things don’t go his way, he disappears. “
