There is an uproar over New England Patriots linebacker Matthew Judon: Via social media, he attacked singer Ariana Grande and accused her of being responsible for the death of rapper Mac Miller.
Linebacker Matthew Judon of the New England Patriots has caused a controversy on social media. The 31-year-old accused singer Ariana Grande of being at least partly responsible for the death of rapper Mac Miller, who died in 2018.
On the platform “X” (formerly Twitter), Judon shared a post informing that Grande pays tribute to Miller in her new album. To which the NFL pro wrote: “Absolutely no one cares. Don’t be sad he’s dead because it was your fault.”
With his dubious post, the four-time Pro Bowler naturally caused appropriate reactions, including from former NFL players. Julian Edelman, who himself played for the Patriots for many years, responded with a GIF expressing his incomprehension of the remarks.
Miller and Grande were a couple between 2016 and 2018. The two-time Grammy winner recently released a special edition of her debut album “Yours Truly” to mark the tenth anniversary. Part of the modified album includes a song she once performed live with Miller in London.
