A Dolphins fan had grabbed a football that was meant for Tyreek Hill’s mother. Now he got a surprise from the star receiver.

This past NFL game day, Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill actually wanted to give the football to his mother in the stands after a touchdown against the New York Giants.

But it didn’t get that far at first. A Dolphins fan stood in between and grabbed the ball. When the fan realised that the ball was meant for Hill’s mother, he gave it back.

After the video of the scene went viral, the Dolphins star now surprised the fan with an autographed football.

The fan explained the misunderstanding, “I didn’t know your mother was behind us, and if I had known, I would have stepped aside. I just figured the best player in the NFL would jump up here and pass a ball.”

The pass receiver, meanwhile, was completely understanding: “He wasn’t trying to steal the ball, he was just trying to hug it,” Hill joked.
