Miami Dolphins: Tyreek Hill sets career end date

Wide receiver Tyreek Hill announced during an interview with “Sports Radio 810 WHB” that he will hang up his football shoes after his contract with the Miami Dolphins expires. A plan for a second leg is already in place.

Star receiver Tyreek Hill is one of the league’s best pass receivers and set personal bests in catches (119) and receiving yards (1710) in his first season with the Miami Dolphins.

But the 29-year-old is already thinking about the time after football. In an interview with “Sports Radio 810 WHB” Hill revealed that he wants to end his active career after the 2025/26 season.

“I want to play ten years in the league. Once my contract with the Dolphins is up, I’m going to call it a day. I want to become an entrepreneur. I want to do so many more things in my life,” Hill said.

Tyreek Hill wants to get into gaming world

Officially, the speedy receiver’s contract doesn’t expire until after the 2026/27 season, however, due to the structure of the contract, Hill is likely to be released after the 2025/26 season at the latest should the Dolphins fail to negotiate a new deal with their top kickoff receiver.

Hill already has a concrete plan for after football. “I want to get into the gaming world. By the end of the month, I should have a first team up and running under my direction. I will be signing various athletes and creators,” Hill said.
