Miami Dolphins: Tyreek Hill likely to give up mansion after fire

After a fire partially destroyed his mansion, Tyreek Hill told teammates he may have to look for a new place to live.

“It’s done, the house is done. Smoke damage, fire damage, the whole top floor burned down,” Hill tells teammates in an episode of the football documentary series “Hard Knocks”.

Shortly after the fire, his agent Drew Rosenhaus still seemed optimistic and explained that the damage was limited to just one room. A few days later, however, it seems clear that this was a misjudgement.

An investigation by the authorities revealed that a child had started the fire by playing with matches or a lighter.

According to TMZ.com, the fire caused 2.3 million dollars worth of damage to the 6.9 million dollar house. According to the report, a further one million dollars worth of damage was caused to the interior of the house.

For Hill himself, however, the playoff game against the Kansas City Chiefs is likely to take center stage for the time being.

The 29-year-old played for the Missouri franchise from 2016 to 2021 before being traded to the Miami Dolphins.
