Las Vegas Raiders: President Marc Badain announces resignation after 30 years

The Las Vegas Raiders are losing President Marc Badain, who is leaving the franchise after 30 years. He talks about his biggest challenge with the Raiders and reveals his plans for the future.

Marc Badain has resigned as president of the Las Vegas Raiders, effective immediately.

The 51-year-old said in a statement that it was time to “focus on family and move on to new goals”. According to “ESPN” information, the Raiders organisation was taken by surprise by Badain’s move, who had been with the franchise since 1991.

“The successful construction of Allegiant Stadium was undeniably the biggest challenge in my 30 years with the Raiders. But seeing the end result is rewarding for the effort. Las Vegas and the Raiders accomplished something together that seemed impossible,” Badain looked back.

He then thanked Raiders owner Mark Davis for his “unconditional support and friendship”. Dan Ventrelle, the previous vice-president, will succeed Badain at the Raiders.
