The Las Vegas Raiders pulled off a comeback win at the Baltimore Ravens. The key scene was not a play on the field, but a conversation off the field.
It already seemed as if the Las Vegas Raiders would also lose game two of the season. Gardner Minshew had just thrown an interception against the Baltimore Ravens and the offense marched off the field.
But not without defensive end Maxx Crosby grabbing his quarterback. He talked energetically to Minshew and apparently encouraged him. The Raiders ended up winning the game 26-23 after falling behind.

Now Minshew revealed what Crosby said to him, “He grabbed me and said ‘Boy, we got your back. We need Washington State Gardner right now.’”
Crosby was alluding to his playmaker’s successful college days. “Then I said, ‘Yeah, you’re damn right, let me see if I can dig that one out’. “
