Quarterback Patrick Mahomes is used in two offensive series in the preseason – and finishes both with a touchdown. David Bada makes his presence felt

Munich – Quarterback superstar Patrick Mahomes got two offensive series in the preseason against the Washington Commanders. And the passer used both of them for touchdown passes. Both to Jody Fortson.

At 24-14, Mahomes was already in regular-season form, leading his offense down the field for 87 and 82 yards and points. The passer completed 12 of his 29 passes for 162 yards.

On the Commanders’ side, starting quarterback Carson Wentz was used for three drives, but his team went scoreless during that time.

After 6 completed passes on 9 attempts for 64 yards, Taylor Heinicke replaced the newcomer from Indianapolis – and immediately led the offence to a touchdown.

David Bada from Munich came into action for the Commanders. The defensive tackle drew attention with two tackles in the final quarter when he twice stopped running back Derrick Gore.
