Hard Knocks: Signs of New York Jets’ choice intensify

According to a league source, the New York Jets are reportedly preparing to star in the documentary “Hard Knocks” – despite little interest from the franchise and quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ stars.

Which team will get up close and personal in the NFL ahead of the start of the 2023/24 season as part of the documentary “Hard Knocks”?

That question looks set to be answered soon, with signs mounting that the New York Jets will be selected this time around. This is reported by “nbcsports” with reference to a source from the league.

Because of impending sale: league may be hesitant on Commanders

Due to the given criteria, only four teams are eligible anyway. Besides the Jets, these are the New Orleans Saints, Chicago Bears and the Washington Commanders.

Problem though: The Jets, Saints and Bears have already made it quite clear that they are not very interested in being part of the documentary this year. With the Commanders, on the other hand, the league is said to be hesitant as the team is currently facing a possible sale.

According to guidelines: Jets might not turn down “Hard Knocks” pick

The most interest would undoubtedly be generated by the New York Jets, who enter the season with star quarterback and rookie Aaron Rodgers and are preparing to be selected at least once, according to the report, despite the lack of interest. While the NFL does not force any team to participate in Hard Knocks, the Jets cannot actually decline should they be selected due to the guidelines set forth.

The guidelines for selecting a team for the documentary series “Hard Knocks” are clear. Teams that did not make the playoffs in the previous two years are eligible, as are teams that enter the season with the same coach as the previous year. The third and final criterion is that teams can be selected that have not been part of the “Hard Knocks” documentary in the past ten years.

The Jets were last part of the “Hard Knocks” documentary in 2010.
