Frank Clark: Denver Broncos restructure contract – release or trade imminent

Pass rusher Frank Clark is on the verge of being released by the Denver Broncos! The contract has already been restructured. Now there are two options.

The Frank Clark era with the Denver Broncos was a short one! In fact, it was only two games and 36 snaps long!

As reported by “ESPN” and various NFL insiders, the player and the franchise are about to part ways. Clark reportedly already agreed to a restructuring of his contract on Wednesday.

His $3.5 million base salary has been reduced to the minimum of $841,000. Clark will give back $1.686 million in guaranteed salary. This makes his contract more attractive for a possible trade.

As a second option, the Broncos could also release the outside linebacker.

He will not be available for the Thursday Night Game against the Kansas City Chiefs due to an illness.

Two Super Bowl titles

The 30-year-old Clark was drafted in the second round by the Seattle Seahawks in 2015 and played for them until 2018. He then moved on to the Kansas City Chiefs, with whom he won two Super Bowl titles.

Clark would be the second pass rusher in a matter of days to leave Denver. Last week, the Broncos traded Randy Gregory to the San Francisco 49ers.
