The Bengals and Chiefs face off for the fifth time in three years. Receiver Ja’Marr Chase starts teasing before the clash of the two actual top teams

It’s one of the best rivalries in the modern NFL. The Cincinnati Bengals host the Kansas City Chiefs on the penultimate game day of the regular season. The two teams that have faced each other in the last two AFC Championship Games.

Also, or perhaps precisely because both teams are not playing their best season, there is a lot of pressure on the game. There will also be plenty of jibes – and wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase sent the first one in the direction of Missouri.

When asked who would stand out for him in the pass defense of the current champions, Chase simply replied: “Nobody.” “They don’t have a lockdown cornerback like Jalen Ramsey,” the former LSU receiver provoked.

Chase still questionable against the Chiefs

“I feel good, things are looking good at the moment. But,” Chase qualified, “I’m looking day to day.” The coaches and doctors would leave the decision up to him, he added.

Meanwhile, the pass receiver enjoys the fact that the matchup against the Chiefs is not only a big one on the field, but also verbally. “I love that. They trash talk the most.”

Chase had the best game of his career so far against Kansas City. In 2021, he put up 266 receiving yards and three touchdowns against Andy Reid’s team.
