Bucs contract: This is how much Richard Sherman

Richard Sherman finds a new team after some negative headlines. But how much money does he actually get with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for his one-year contract?

Munich – Richard Sherman is back in the NFL. A good two and a half months after making headlines with an attempted break-in at his in-laws’ house, to which he also drove drunk, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed him during the week.

The 33-year-old is already available to his new team for the Sunday Night Game against the New England Patriots.

What does Sherman get with the Bucs?

But what is the cornerback actually getting for his services? According to “NFL Network”, Sherman has signed a one-year contract worth 2.25 million US dollars (around 1.94 million euros), 500,000 of which is said to be guaranteed.

In addition, “Pro Football Talk” reports, citing sources, that Sherman can also pick up up to 125,000 dollars in bonuses for the individual games. With 14 games left in the regular season, this would be just under 9,000 dollars per game.

In addition to the Bucs, the Panthers, the Seahawks and the 49ers were also reportedly interested in Sherman. Whether they offered more money is not known.
