Wide Receiver John Ross of the Cincinnati Bengals leaves the training camp to assist his son and his mother. Both have been infected with the corona virus.
Only shortly after the training camp of the Cincinnati Bengals started, Wide Receiver John Ross had to leave. In the past the 24-year-old already missed time at the training camp, but this time he is doing it for a different reason.
Son infected with Corona – return uncertain
As Mike Garafolo of the “NFL Network” reports, John Ross has already left the Cincinnati Bengal facilities to join his son and his mother in Los Angeles. Both have been infected with the corona virus.
In addition, Tom Pelissero of the “NFL Network” stated that the Bengals will probably put Ross on the reserve/COVID-19 list soon. It is still unclear how long Ross will be out of action. However, before he returns to the team, he will have to pass several negative tests over a period of time.
Paul Dehner Jr. of “The Athletic” describes Ross as a very family man who would do anything for his son, so the decision comes as no surprise.
In his time with the Bengals, the first-round pick of 2017 comes to 716 yards and ten touchdowns. Due to many injuries, Ross could only play 24 of 48 possible games for Cincinnati.
