Rashod Bateman is set to make his NFL debut in his Baltimore Ravens’ home game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. Le’Veon Bell, meanwhile, will get another chance at probation.
Munich – The Baltimore Ravens have announced four roster moves ahead of Sunday’s top AFC matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. First-round pick Rashod Bateman is also affected.
The wide receiver was previously on the Injured Reserve list as a result of surgery for his groin injury. That time is now over and the rookie could make his NFL debut on Game Day 6.
Tyre Phillips was also taken off the Injured Reserve List. That’s where the guard had landed because of his Game 1 knee injury.
Bell facing second stint as practice squad member
The Ravens also brought Le’Veon Bell and Andre Smith up from the Practice Squad to the 53-man roster. It will potentially be the running back’s second start of the season after he rushed for 11 yards on four runs in a 23-7 win over the Denver Broncos on Game 4.
If Bell is indeed in the line-up against the Chargers, a decision would have to be made afterwards as to whether he will make the 53-man roster in its entirety or have to try his luck with another club.
