During a dispute with his wife, Tyreek Hill allegedly threw a cigar in her face. Hill himself puts things into perspective – and wants to “clean up” his life
New turmoil surrounding NFL star Tyreek Hill! As the “Miami Herald” reports, citing a police report, the Miami Dolphins wide receiver is said to have thrown a cigar into his wife’s face during an argument with her. The incident allegedly took place on January 30, 2024.
Hill’s wife Keeta Vaccaro is said to have had a phone call with a relative on that day. Because she heard Hill screaming in the background, she called the police. When the officers arrived, Vaccaro accused the NFL player of “throwing” an unlit cigar in her face. Hill himself stated that he had only “flicked” the cigar and that it had not hit his wife.
The dispute is said to have arisen because Hill wanted to get his wife to sign a postnuptial agreement. He had filed for divorce shortly beforehand. Vaccaro refused to sign and told the police that she had felt “harassed, threatened and verbally abused”.
Due to the contradictory statements and the lack of evidence of a criminal offense, the police did not investigate Hill further.
Tyreek Hill not accused for the first time
Hill has often been the focus of investigations into assault or domestic violence in recent years. For example, he was sued by an influencer who accused him of breaking her leg during football drills at his home. Five years ago, Hill was investigated after his son broke his arm. However, the investigation was unsuccessful due to a lack of clear evidence.
Before entering the league in the 2016 draft, Hill pleaded guilty to physically assaulting his then-pregnant girlfriend.
Hill himself announced just a few days ago on “The Pivot Podcast” that he wanted to “clean up” his life: “When I came into the league, I lost the real me that my grandparents raised me to be. I completely forgot my relationship with God. And that clearly showed. “
