A lip-reader uncovers one of the most exciting moments of the 58th Super Bowl. Chiefs star Travis Kelce mouths off to his coach Andy Reid – allegedly with these words.
It was one of the first upsets in the game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVIII.
Tight end Travis Kelce was not allowed on the field for several plays, Chiefs coach Andy Reid surprisingly left him out.
The superstar didn’t like that at all, so the almost 2-metre tall man tackled the 65-year-old, jostled him and surprised him loudly.
Reid visibly flinched, was shouted at by his own player and team-mate Jerick McKinnon had to intervene and pull Kelce away from his coach.
During the game, many fans were still outraged, some calling for Kelce to be ejected or punished in some other way. Eagles star AJ Brown even claimed that if he had done that, he would have been kicked out of the league.
Kelce and Reid themselves clearly downplayed the scene after the Super Bowl win.
The Daily Mail even hired a lip reader for the scene to find out what Kelce Reid actually said. According to the report, he shouted:
The Daily Mail hired a lip reader to find out what Travis Kelce screamed at the coach last night while shoving him, and their lip reader said he was screaming, “Keep me in. You f****r! I’m calm now!”
Which is exactly what someone who is calm would do.

Naturally, someone who has calmed down would react like this.
