Armed robbery: Police search for two NFL players

Police are searching for two NFL pros by warrant. DeAndre Baker and Quinton Dunbar are believed to be involved in armed robbery.

Police in Miramar, South Florida, have issued a warrant for the arrest of two players from the US NFL football league. DeAndre Baker of the New York Giants and Quinton Dunbar of the Seattle Seahawks are said to have been involved in an armed robbery. The NFL and the teams of the two players said they had been informed by the authorities and were now gathering intelligence. There were no further comments at first.

Baker (22) and Dunbar (27) are said to have been guests at a party in Miami on Wednesday evening. According to several witnesses, an argument broke out there, as a result of which Baker pulled a gun. Afterwards he and Dunbar robbed several guests. The two had taken several thousand dollars in cash, expensive watches and other valuable items before leaving the party. Whether Dunbar was also armed remained unclear at first. The involvement of a possible third person is also currently being investigated.

Baker had been selected by the Giants in the first round of the 2019 Draft. Dunbar played for the Washington Redskins last season before switching to the Seahawks in March.
