NFL: Tom Brady faces loss of partner firm – owner ‘messed up’

Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has built up a second leg as an entrepreneur alongside his football career. But one of his partner companies is now facing bankruptcy.

Munich – Since 2021, Tom Brady has been a brand ambassador and one of the faces of the company FTX, which specialises in buying and selling crypto. In return, he received shares in the company. Ex-wife Gisele Bündchen also owns some.

Brady and Bündchen appeared in some of the company’s advertisements, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback promoted the company several times on social media.

However, the company is now facing bankruptcy. This is what industry media report unanimously. The owner of the company, Sam Bankman-Fried, wrote on Twitter that he had “messed up”.

Things aren’t going well for Brady on the football field either these days. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have lost five of their nine games so far this season. This coming Sunday, the 45-year-old can improve his record in the Munich Game against the Seattle Seahawks.

“The stadium in Munich is going to be awesome. I’m really looking forward to it,” Brady announced in the run-up.
