Signs are mounting that Taylor Swift could perform during the halftime show at Super Bowl LVII. This also has to do with the timing of an NFL announcement.
Munich – It has not yet been officially confirmed which artists will perform during the halftime show at Super Bowl LVII on February 12, 2023 at State Farm Stadium.
But now there are more and more signs that US pop and country singer Taylor Swift could be part of the halftime show.
Timing of NFL announcement fuels Swift rumours
The rumours surrounding the possible artists participating in the Super Bowl halftime show are now picking up steam once again as “Apple Music” has been unveiled as a sponsor of that very halftime show.
The release of this announcement by the NFL happened exactly at midnight and so the thought among many fans is that this is a reference to Taylor Swift’s new album “Midnights”, which will be released on 21 October.

End of Pepsi deal as another sign
The expiration of Pepsi’s sponsorship deal could also be a nod to a Swift appearance at Super Bowl LVII. Pepsi had announced it would end its sponsorship of the halftime show at the Super Bowl after ten years. Swift, in turn, has an ongoing partnership with Pepsi’s biggest competitor, Coca Cola.
In addition, multiple sources confirmed to Variety magazine that Swift would indeed perform during halftime at Arizona Cardinals’ State Farm Stadium in Glendale.”
Contradictory Reports
“TMZ”, however, contradicted the rumours in a later report, referring to “sources with concrete knowledge” that Swift will not perform at the Super Bowl.
So whether the superstar really will be the next halftime act at the upcoming Super Bowl probably remains a mystery for now.
