Munich – There are moments as a coach that you never forget. Ever. For Bruce Arians, of course, the Super Bowl victory with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021 is one of them. As well as the triumphs with the Pittsburgh Steelers when he was receivers coach (2005) and offensive coordinator (2008).

And of course, the bizarre departure of scandalous Antonio Brown in the game against the New York Jets at the beginning of January is one of the moments that will remain.

When the wide receiver took off his jersey in the third quarter, threw it into the audience, walked off the field topless and celebrating with the Jets fans. Which was tantamount to Brown’s release from the Bucs. AB has been a free agent ever since.

On “Pardon My Take,” Arians recalls his reaction to Brown’s departure on the sidelines. “That was, yeah, very emotional. Very shrill,” Arians joked.

Looking back, however, Arians is conciliatory: “He’s a unique guy. And, you know, he helped us win a Super Bowl, AB is a great player. Nobody works harder than AB. “
