Colin Kaepernick’s workout with the Las Vegas Raiders was allegedly a disaster. His agent is now fighting back against the allegation.
Munich/Las Vegas – Colin Kaepernick has been quiet once again. Since the workout with the Las Vegas Raiders a few weeks ago, things haven’t really moved on for the quarterback.
Because the unit with the Raiders was a disaster?
That’s what Hall of Fame defensive tackle Warren Sapp claims. “I heard it was one of the worst workouts ever,” the NFL Network analyst said on “Vlad TV.” And questioned why there were no pictures of the workout at all.
Reactions were positive
It has to be said: the reactions to the visit to the Raiders and participation in the team’s workout in May were actually positive, the officials were said to have been impressed, both by the 34-year-old’s arm strength and general condition.
Despite that, Kaepernick’s agent Jeff Nalley weighed in.
“I guess Warren hasn’t talked to the general manager or the head coach,” Nalley said on “ProFootballTalk.” “I’ve talked to the general manager several times and he said they all think Kap is in great shape and throws the ball really well. “
Ziegler encouraged every team to call him about practice and he would tell them the same thing, Nalley said. “I’m surprised Warren would say something like that because it’s not true and you would think he would want Kap on a team.”
Currently, however, there is nothing new regarding Kaepernick’s career. The signal caller played his last NFL game in early January 2017 and has been waiting for a second chance ever since.
