Nearly a fortnight ago, quarterback legend Tom Brady announced his retirement and returned to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. But the future of the 44-year-old seems more uncertain than thought. A spectacular trade within Florida is currently being discussed in the USA.
Miami/Munich – Rarely have the Miami Dolphins been as successful in free agency as they have been this year.
Star left tackle Terron Armstead signed a lucrative contract, receiver Tyreek Hill came in a trade from Kansas City and tight end Mike Gesicki extended his contract in Florida.
Things could hardly have gone better – or could they? There is currently speculation in the USA about a curious new acquisition from Tampa Bay.
Miami Dolphins and Tom Brady “working” on trade
Believing information from “NESN” journalist Dale Arnold, the Dolphins are working on a trade for quarterback legend Tom Brady.
@DaleEArnold tweeted this afternoon he “wouldn’t be surprised” if Tom Brady goes to the Miami Dolphins this season
Dale tells us he is hearing the parties are “working on it”

“They probably won’t make it,” Arnold is quoted as saying by Boston sports radio station “WEEI”: “But they’re working on it.”
Brady trade causes confusion
This crazy constellation is already being targeted by Brady and the franchise for the season currently underway, Arnold said.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if Tom Brady doesn’t suit up for the Buccaneers next season,” he announced auspiciously on Twitter.
Would not be surprised if @TomBrady didn’t play for @Buccaneers next season. Try a little further South.

When asked by the radio station, the journalist clarified that “next season” actually already meant the 2022 season.
Journalist is considered a reliable source
For the last two years at least, Arnold has been considered a reliable source on the Tom Brady matter. At the time, he was one of the first journalists to announce the historic move to Tampa Bay.
The Dolphins’ interest is also said to be no coincidence. Many media reported that owner Stephen Ross is said to have met with an unknown quarterback on his yacht in Miami at the end of the 2019 season.
It is now believed to be confirmed that it was Tom Brady.
Dolphins mind game: Tom Brady or Tua Tagovailoa?
Last the superstar opted to transfer to Tampa Bay, Miami selected college star Tua Tagovailoa in the draft.
It’s unclear if the 24-year-old could also be part of a possible trade for Brady.
